The Studio

Fifty years. One bench.
Thousands of first notes.

Since 1973, Cyndie Caruth has taught piano to students from age five to seventy-five - first lessons through college auditions. She was among the first teachers in the country to earn National Certification, and her students have gone on to state and national competition stages, university music programs, and operate piano studios of their own.

The Journey · I

It begins with a single note.

Every student - age five or seventy-five - starts the same way: one key, one sound, one small act of courage. The studio meets them exactly there.

The Journey · II

Then, practice becomes a discipline.

Private lessons build the technique. Studio classes build the nerve. Scheduled, deliberate practice builds everything else - and by the time a Caruth student sits down in front of an audience, none of it is a surprise.

The Journey · III

Then, the stage.

Caruth students have earned recognition in district, state, regional, and international competitions - appearing in symphony concerto performances and on television.

The Journey · IV

And finally - a lifelong love of music.

Some students become performers. Some become teachers themselves. All of them leave with music woven into who they are.
